St Dominic’s Chapel is set in the grounds of the Manor House at Mells. The Chapel serves the Catholic community in Mells and the surrounding areas. Mass is said here by Father Richard Dwyer at 11.30am on Sunday mornings and often in the week by Bishop Crispian Hollis at 6pm.

Frome to Mells: taking the A362 head north out of the town follow signs to Radstock. You will pass through the outside of the town and eventually come to a small roundabout in a residential part of the top of the town, take the first exit, this is signed to Mells and Whatley. (The second exit is signed to Radstock). Head out on this road through the country side, there will be a sign to Mells on your left indicating a RIGHT turn to Mells. When you see a white sign on your right for the Grange Restaurant turn right just BEFORE the sign. This is the turn to Mells. Drive along here, for a couple of miles until you reach a right turn and a sign for Mells, at the end of a long straight stretch. Turn here and continue downhill without turning off, passing the vllage shop and post office on your right. Continue up the hill, past the walled garden on your left and the Talbot Inn on your righ. The driveway to the Manor House and St Dominic’s Chapel is the next turn on your right. Head through the narrow gateway of stone pillars topped by stone dogs and up the drive, bear right at the top and the Chapel is immediately on your left. You may park on the gravelled area outside the Manor.
